Consent Calendar

The consent calendar is used for non-controversial motions which are grouped and passed en masse without discussion. A Senator may move to remove any individual item from the consent calendar, for discussion at a future Senate meeting. Minor technical changes to past legislation and policies which are academic but not deemed by Senate Exec to be of sufficient interest to take time during a Senate meeting are put on the consent calendar.  A motion to pass the consent calendar will be arranged by the Senate President in consultation with Senate Exec subject to the usual motion deadlines.
