Section I

1.1  WHEREAS the Graduate School has been reorganized into the Division of Graduate Studies with the Office of the Provost; and

1.2 WHEREAS the above structural change brought about a review of the charge and responsibilities of the Graduate Council, concluding it is time to refocus the efforts of this committee; 

Section II

2.1 THEREFORE BE IT MOVED the University Senate approves the changes to the charge and responsibilities of the Graduate Council as outlined in the related document.
