1.1  WHEREAS the current university student grievance policies are inconsistent and hard for students to access and utilize.

1.2  WHEREAS the University of Oregon has never attempted to create a policy that specifically addresses student grievances that are separate from employee and faculty grievances

1.3  WHEREAS UO leadership has sought out feedback from students and student facing offices across campus to a policy that better serves the UO community

2.1 THEREFORE IT BE MOVED that the University Senate approves the student grievance policy as outlined in the related document.
