Section I

1.1 WHEREAS the Scholastic Review Committee serves a crucial service by administrating the petition process related to academic progress at the University of Oregon; and

1.2 WHEREAS the Committee on Oversight and Shared Governance has completed a review of the  charge and membership and determined that revisions are necessary to benefit students and members of the committee; and

1.3 WHEREAS the Committee on Oversight and Shared Governance has developed revisions in partnership with the Office of Academic Advising and the Office of the Registrar.

Section II

2.1 THEREFORE BE IT MOVED that the UO Senate approves the revised charge for the Scholastic Review Committee as outlined in the related documents; and

2.2 THEREFORE BE IT ALSO BE MOVED that the UO Senate approves the revised membership of the Scholastic Review Committee as outlined in the related documents.
