Section I

1.1  WHEREAS the University of Oregon Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards requested that a new grade marker be established to help successfully manage the academic misconduct process; and 

1.2  WHEREAS the current practices are cumbersome, and have led to incorrect grades being reflected on student records; and

1.3. WHEREAS the current system of grade markers does not account well for pending academic misconduct cases;

Section II

2.1  THEREFORE BE IT MOVED that a GP grade be established for pending academic misconduct cases using the procedure outlined in the related document.
