Motion

1.1 WHEREAS the Graduate Council is charged by the University Senate to "advise the Dean of the Graduate School on matters pertaining to graduate study at the University of Oregon;" and

1.2 WHEREAS the Graduate Council has responsibility for "providing for the maintenance of high standards of graduate instruction;" and

1.3 WHEREAS  the Graduate Council and the Division of Graduate Studies have fully reviewed and endorsed the proposal for a new Masters of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis and recommend that the Provost forward it to the University of Oregon Board of Trustees, the statewide Provost’s Council, and the Higher Education Coordinating Commission for approval:

2.1 BE IT HEREBY MOVED, on the recommendation of the Division of Graduate Studies, the new Masters of Science degree in Applied Behavior Analysis is approved (please see Related Documents section for proposal details - DRAFT documents still waiting on approval by the Graduate Council as of 11.12.2021).
