Section I

1.1 WHEREAS the Committee on Oversight and Shared Governance is charged with overseeing and maintaining the functioning and processes of its various committees; and 

1.2 WHEREAS the Committee on Shared Governance, in collaboration with UO Senate leadership, has completed a review of its charge and determined that revisions are necessary to update the charge to reflect its current practices; and

1.3 WHEREAS the Committee on Oversight and Shared Governance is one of a handful of committees listed in the UO Senate Bylaws;

Section II

2.1 THEREFORE BE IT MOVED that the UO Senate approves a revision to the UO Senate Bylaws to the charge of the Committee on Oversight and Shared Governance as outlined in the related document.
