Section I

1.1 Whereas the Committee on Sexual and Gender Based Violence serves the University of Oregon community by providing to topics related to sex and gender inclusion

1.2  Whereas the current name of the committee does not reflect the breadth of work the committee does.

1.3  Whereas the committee has recommended a new name for the committee and a revised charge that better reflects the important work that the committee conducts.

Section II

2.1 Therefore Committee on Sexual and Gender Based Violence will be named the Committee on Sex and Gender Inclusion and Access

2.2 Therefore the Senate approves the revised charge of the Committee on Sex and Gender Inclusion and Access as outlined in the related documents
